Sculpture is my first love and has always informed the direction of my work. It is the starting point to my methodology to explore materials and create objects and experiences, the connection to the material is an essential part of my process

I have always been intrigued by the power of nature, to both build and destroy. My work often utilizes found or discarded materials, warn and weathered by the elements.

This installation I worked on with Maria Cristina, is made of 63 chairs we found on the streets of Brooklyn, it was displayed in three different locations over the course of a year, including the entrance of the Brooklyn Designs show and a gallery space in Bushwick.
